Pelican Names Melissa Ott Vice President of Accounting

BATON ROUGE – Pelican State Credit Union has announced the promotion of Melissa Ott to Vice President of Accounting.

Hired as a part-time student worker in 2000, Ott has been promoted through the ranks and has most recently served as Finance and Accounting Manager. She has been instrumental in developing the Asset Liability Management Program, which provides the reports and data needed for Pelican to make key decisions.

“Melissa has continuously made an impact on her managers and coworkers with her personal drive, attention to detail and maturity beyond her age,” said Jeffrey K. Conrad, Pelican CEO/President.

“We are proud to welcome Melissa to the senior management team at Pelican and we look forward to her continued development, advancement and success,” said Conrad.

Ott received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2002. She is the wife of Jeremie Ott and proud mother of Kaylie and Dillon Ott.
