Pelican State Credit Union is committed to the financial education of its members and the community. Our award-winning Financial Education Program and nationally certified Credit Management Department were created to increase your financial knowledge and help you make informed financial decisions.

FREE Credit Counseling
Credit Counseling is FREE for members and completely confidential! Our Credit Counseling Officers are trained to assist you with your credit report and help you begin saving, build a credit history, gain access to lower-cost sources of credit and invest in your future.
We also offer a long-term Credit Management Program for members who are serious about aggressively improving their financial situation. A Credit Counseling Officer will work with you to set financial goals and arm you with the information you need to achieve them.

Financial Literacy Workshops (FLWs)
Pelican offers FREE Financial Literacy Workshops (FLWs) on various topics such as budgeting, making your money grow and tips on improving your credit score to Select Employer Groups (SEGs), schools and the community.

Field Trips
Some Pelican branches allow local classrooms to tour the branch, learn about daily operations and participate in a workshop specifically geared towards children or teens on topics such as managing and saving money.

Credit Report Dispute
If you need to dispute information that appears on your credit report from Pelican State Credit Union, click here to complete the Credit Report Dispute Form. All disputes must be submitted in writing in order for the dispute to be investigated.
