Account Number and Direct Deposit Changes

To ease your account transition, we have maintained your existing First Castle account number and simply added 345 and zeros to the beginning of your existing account number to equal 10 digits.

How do I find my new account number(s)?

To access your new account number (member number) along with your full primary savings and checking account numbers (MICR numbers) please refer to the merger guide mailed to you.

  • MEMBER NUMBER: Your account number called your member number will be needed to set-up online banking and mobile banking along with using a CO-OP Shared Branch.
  • MICR NUMBERS: Your 13-digit savings and checking account numbers called your MICR numbers will be needed along with Pelican's routing number (265473485) to make electronic payments (also called online or ACH payments) and set-up your direct deposits.

Will this affect my direct deposit and recurring payments?

Yes, please update the account information tied to your direct deposit and recurring payments as soon as possible. Use your new 13-digit account numbers along with Pelican’s routing number (265473485) to update your direct deposit information with your employer along with any ACH or recurring payments.

But what about future possible stimulus checks or deposits that were not updated?

Pelican will not reject a direct deposit. If a direct deposit goes to First Castle instead of Pelican, we will get these posted to your new account in time.

Can I continue to use my First Castle FCU checks?

Yes, you can continue to use your current First Castle FCU checks until Sunday, November 1, 2020. If you would like to order Pelican checks, click here.
