Wire transfers are the fastest way to move money. We facilitate incoming and outgoing wire transfers domestically, but not internationally. However, international wire transfers may be facilitated through a correspondent bank, which acts as an intermediary between two financial institutions that do not have an established working relationship. The correspondent bank must have arrangements with both Pelican and the foreign institution in order for the international wire transfer to be executed.
